The Beginning

She started out in sales and promotion while she was in college. Her degree was in finance so her first job out of college was as a financial analyst. She didn't like it and shifted to mortgages then to real estate. She had side jobs in fitness and sales all this time and eventually merged all her skills and passions to create a health food company. 

Low Point

Although she had a lot of success (delivering a successful pitch on Shark Tank) she also had many disappointments. She ended up closing her food business and made a shift to help people with their sales.

Getting Comfortable Selling

You have to practice. Make a game of it if you have to. But do it consistently to help get over any fears. Talk to people everywhere you go. Ask for free samples, ask to cut in line, get comfortable being told no and devise ways to get a yes.

If You're Uncomfortable

You have to get over it. Ask yourself how committed are you to being a business owner. You have to be willing to fix yourself before you can ask people to invest money in you.

If you're making a shift to an unfamiliar niche you must get practice hours. Give away sessions, get testimonials, build up your skill set. 

Knowing Your Worth

Price higher rather than lower. Don't fall into the trap of pricing low in the beginning, you'll be miserable.
